General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast of Thailand to tropical storm “Haitang” in the South of China sea centered at latitude 17.0 oN, longitude 111.7 oE. The storm is moving west slowly off the coast of Vietnam. The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rain remains over the East and the upper South, especially in provinces of Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat and Ranong. People in lowlands along foothills and near waterways are warned of severe weather.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain with gust

in Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Ratcha Buri.

Westerly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain with gust

in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Westerly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
