"Tropical Storm Nesat"

At 2100 UTC, typhoon “Nesat” was centered over the upper of South China Sea or latitude 19.1 ?N, longitude 113.2 ?E, maximum sustained wind about 120 km/hr. It was moving northwest about 18 km/hr. It is expected to move to the Bay of Tokin by 30 September.
The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rain remains over the east and the south west-coast especially in Nakhon Nayok, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. People along foothills, near waterways and in lowland are warned of possible flash flood. The strong wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are expected 2-4 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
