General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The ridge of moderate high pressure from China covers the upper of Thailand and the South China Sea. The westerly trough moves over upper North of the country. Cool in the morning with scattered thundershower over the upper Northern part while cool weather with morning mist and isolated to widely scattered thundershower occurs in the Northeast, the Central and the East of Thailand.
The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and southern Thailand. Fairly widespread rain and Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall are expected over the South east-coast. The wind-wave in the Gulf of Thailand from Chumphon southward is likely about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.
