Weather Forecast During 22-23 November, intense high pressure area from China extends to cover upper Thailand and the westerly trough from Myanmar will move across upper North of Thailand during 24-28 Nov. These cause isolated light rain, cool to cold weather with drop in 2-4 oC likely over upper Thailand and frost in some places on the mountaintops of the North.
During 22-25 Nov, the stronger northeast monsoon prevails over southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely from Chumphon southward with the stronger wind waves, 2-3 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand. After that during 26-28 Nov, the moderate northeast monsoon across southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Scattered rain is expected over the South of Thailand with wind waves, 1-2 meters high.
Warning People in the North, the Northeast, the central and the East should take care of your health due to cooler weather. And during 22-25 Nov, people in southern Thailand east-coast should beware of heavy rain, flooding conditions and strong wind-wave blowing into the coastline. All ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani southward should proceed with caution and small boat in the lower Gulf keep ashore during this period.
