Weather Forecast During 30 Nov- 4 Dec, another high pressure from China will cover upper Thailand bringing shower rain and cool to cold weather with 2-3 oC drops. The intense northeast monsoon affects more rain and isolate heavy rainfalls in the lower South with stronger wind wave about 2 meters high. During 5-6 December, this high pressure will weaken. Increasing in temperature is expected in the upper Thailand. The northeast monsoon remains over the south and the Gulf of Thailand causing rainfall continue over the areas during the period.
Warning People are advised to wear thick clothes due to cooler weather. During 2-6 December, southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward will experience heavy rain and stronger wind-waves in the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution.
Northern Part During 1-4 Dec, 2-3 oC drop. Cool to cold in the upper portion, minimum temperature 14-17 oC. cool with 18-21 oC elsewhere. Cold to very cold with isolated frost on mountaintops,
minimum temperature 4-10 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
During 5-6 Dec, cool with morning mist and isolated thick patches,
minimum temperature 16-22 oC.
Maximum 30-34 oC. Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 6-12 oC.
Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
