Weather Forecast During 6-7 Dec, the active high pressure over upper Thailand will weaken. Cool weather remains over upper Thailand and the moderate northeast monsoon across the south and the Gulf of Thailand causing scattered thundershowers over southern Thailand during the period.
During 8-12 Dec, another active high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand bringing isolated shower and temperature decrease 4- 6 oC. The stronger northeast monsoon prevails over the south and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy rain are expected over southern Thailand and strong wind wave in the Gulf of Thailand with 2-3 meters high.
Warning People in upper Thailand are advised to wear thick clothes due to cooler weather. During 8-12 December, southern Thailand from Surat Thani southward will experience heavy rain and stronger wind-waves in the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution.
Northern Part During 6-8 Dec, cool with morning fog and thick patches in some places.
Minimum temperature 17-22 oC, maximum 28-32 oC.
Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 5-11 oC. Northeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
During 9-12 Dec, isolated rain and 2-3 oC drops.
