General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The intense high pressure area induces cool to cold weather over the North, the Northeast, the East and the Central including Bangkok and vicinity. High mountains experience very cold with isolated frost. People are advised to wear thick clothes due to sudden changeable weather.
The active northeast monsoon affects scattered thundershower in the South east-coast with waves 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Residents along the coast are warned of high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats stay ashore.
