Slightly increasing in temperature and morning fog is likely in upper Thailand but cool to cold weather remains over Thailand. Wave height about 2 meters is likely in Nakhon Si Thammarat southward.
During 16-18 Dec, another intense high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand causing cooler weather is expected over Thailand with 2-4 oC drops and windy. Cold to very cold and isolated frost in the mountaintops of the North and the Northeast. The northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. A low pressure cell in the lower South China Sea will move across Malaysia during 15-17 Dec. More rains and isolated heavy rain are expected over the lower South of Thailand and the stronger wind wave in the Gulf of Thailand with 2-4 meters high.
During 19-21 Dec, This high pressure will weaken. Increasing in temperature is likely in upper Thailand but cool to cold weather remains over Thailand.
Warning — During this period People in upper Thailand including the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East are advised to wear thick clothes due to cool to cold weather. During 16-18 Dec, people in southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should beware of heavy rain and high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
