General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 04.00 a.m. today (20 Dec, 2011), tropical depression “WASHI” has downgraded to low pressure cell and move over Malaysia on 21 Dec, 2011. This causes more rainfall with isolated heavy fall in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang and Satun during 21-22 Dec, 2011. The wind-waves 2-4 meters high are likely in the lower Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.

The high pressure covers upper Thailand during 1-2 days will weaken and another intense high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand on 23 Dec, 2011. It causes cool to cold weather and windy in the areas. People are advised to wear thick clothes due to sudden changeable weather.
