Weather Forecast During 20-22 Dec, high pressure over Thailand will weakening causing slightly increasing temperature but still cool weather in the North and the Northeast. The northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthening. During 23-26 Dec, another intense high pressure from China will extend its ridge to cover Thailand causing drop in temperature and continuously cool while very cold on the high mountainous area and frost some place. Active northeast monsoon prevails over the south and the gulf of Thailand causing strong wind-wave.
Depression “WACHI” in the lower South China Sea downgrade to low pressure cell. Increasing in rainfall and isolated heavy rain in the lower south of Thailand during 21-23 Dec, strong wind-waves are 2-3 meters high.
Warning During this period People in upper Thailand including the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East are advised to wear thick clothes due to cool to cold weather. During 21-26 Dec, people in southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should beware of heavy rain and high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and during 23-26 Dec, small boats keep ashore.
