The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand Wave height about 2 meters. During 23-27 Dec, another intense high pressure area from China will extend its ridge to cover Thailand causing drop in temperature 5-7 degree with windy and continuously cool while very cold on the high mountainous area and frost some place. Active northeast monsoon prevails over the south and the gulf of Thailand causing strong wind-wave 2-5 meters high.Warning — During 24-27 Dec, people in upper Thailand including the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East are advised to wear thick clothes due to cool to cold weather. People in southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should beware of heavy rain and high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
