Weather Forecast During 25-28 Dec, the intense high pressure area from China cover upper Thailand and the westerly trough will move pass the North of Thailand during 25-27 Dec. This cause cool to cold weather with 2-4 oC drops and windy in the country. While cold to very cold and isolated frost on the high mountainous. The active northeast monsoon prevails over southern and the Gulf. Stronger wind-wave 2-4 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf. After that during 29-31 Dec, this high pressure over Thailand and the Northeast monsoon across southern and the Gulf will weaken. Slightly rise in temperature is expected in upper Thailand but cool weather is remaining in the areas. While wind wave 2-3 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf.
Warning People in upper Thailand including the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East are advised to wear thick clothes due to cool to cold weather. During 25-27 Dec, people in southern Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should beware of heavy rain and high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
