Weather Forecast The moderate high pressure from China has extended its ridge to cover Thailand and the South China Sea causes cool to cold weather with morning fog are likely in upper Thailand. Less rain is likely in the South. After that this high pressure area cover in the areas will weaken.
During 9-14 Jan 2012, the westerly trough will move to Northern Thailand causes rainfalls in the first and then 2-4 oC drops, cold to very cold and isolated frost on the high mountainous. The easterly wave will cover the Gulf and the lower South. Increasing in rainfalls with heavy rain in many places is expected from Chumphon southward.
Warning During this period, people in the upper Thailand should take care of your health due to cool weather and all vehicles should beware of low visibility. During 9-14 Jan 2012, people in the lower South beware of heavy rain. All ships in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward proceed with caution throughout of the period.
