During 12-15 Jan 2012, the westerly trough will move to Northern Thailand. Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers and 2-4 oC drops are likely in the area. Cold to very cold and isolated frost on the high mountainous. The easterly wave will cover the Gulf and the lower South. Increasing in rainfalls with isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected from Chumphon southward.
Warning During this period, people in the upper Thailand should take care of your health due to cool weather and all vehicles should beware of low visibility. During 12-15 Jan 2012, people in the lower South from Chumphon southward beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore the most throughout of the period.
