Weather Forecast During 29 Jan-1 Feb, the moderate high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the southeasterly winds bring the moisture to the country. Thundershowers with isolated gust and 3-5 oC drops are expected in Northwestern Thailand first and then in the other area. The easterly wave will move across the lower South of Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy fall is likely from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. The wind wave in the Gulf of Thailand is stronger with about 2 meters high.
During 2-4 Feb, the high pressure area covers upper Thailand will weakening. Increasing in temperature with morning fog is likely in the areas.
Warning During 29 Jan-1 Feb, people in the Northeast, the Central and the East beware of thundershowers with gust and people in the lower South from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward beware of flooding condition.
Northern Part During 29-31 Jan, cold in the upper portion and fog in the morning with thick patch in some place, minimum temperature 10-15 oC. Elsewhere cool and isolated rain. Minimum 16-23 oC. Maximum 30-35 oC.
Very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 2-8 oC. Northwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
