General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate high pressure over the upper portion of Thailand and the South China Sea causes cool weather in the North and the Northeast of the country. The southeasterly winds bringing the moisture to the lower North, the Central and the East lead to isolated to widely scattered rain over the areas.

During 3-5 February, the easterly waves will affect the upper North with rain for the first period and then a decrease in temperature by 3-5 ?C.

Northeastern Part Cool with morning fog and isolated shower.

mostly in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon,

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla.

Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

From Chumphon northward: wave height 1-2 meters.

From Surat Thani southward: wave height about 2 meters and 2-3 meters in the thunder areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket and Krabi.
