The high pressure from China extend its ridge to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while hot to very hot weather is likely over Thailand. These cause summer thunderstorm, i.e. thunderstorm with gust and hail in upper Thailand especially in the North, the Northeast and the East. People should beware of severe weather during 27-28 April 2012.
The southwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea and southern Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain is likely in the areas.
