Weather Forecast During 14-16 May, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand and the ridge of high pressure area extended to upper Laos and Vietnam causing thundershower with gust in the North and the Northeast Thailand in this period. After that during 17-20 May, this southwest monsoon will strengthen and the southeasterly winds bring moisture from the South China Sea to the Northeast and the East of Thailand. Increasing in rainfall is expected over Thailand with Isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South of the Thailand while wind wave in the Andaman Sea about 2 meters high. Warning During 14-16 May, people in the North and the Northeast beware of gust in this period. During 17-20 May, people in the risky area of the North, the Northeast, the East and the South should beware of flooding conditions and all ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution.
