During 17-19 May, the low pressure cell cover the Central will move westward to Myanmar and the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Abundant rains are expected over Thailand with Isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the North, the Central, the East and the South. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea with about 2 meters high.
After that during 20-23 May, the rather strong southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Abundant rains and isolated heavy rain decreasing rain are likely in the western portion of Thailand and the East.
Warning Warning. People in the risky area of the North, the Central, the East and the upper South should beware of flooding conditions especially during 17-20 May. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution throughout of the period.
