Weather Forecast During 21-22 May, the low pressure cell over the Gulf of Martabun is weakening and the moderate southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Decreasing rains are expected over Thailand.
After that during 23-26 May, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with easterly will cover the Gulf. Abundant rains and isolated heavy rain are likely in the western portion of Thailand and the East. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea with about 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
Warning People in the risky area of the North, the Central and the upper South should beware of flooding conditions especially during 20 and 23-26 May. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution throughout of the period.
