"Heavy rain and strong wind-wave"

The monsoon trough across the North and the upper Northeast and the active southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf affect abundant rain and isolated heavy rain over the country. People in risky areas should beware of flooding. The areas include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga, and Krabi. The strong wind-waves are 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore today (29 May 2012).
During 30 May - 1 June, the monsoon trough and the southwest monsoon then cause decreasing rainfall overall country, except for the North while the wind wave will weaken.
