Weather Forecast During 17-19 Jun, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the Northeastern of Thailand to active low pressure cell in the northern of South China Sea. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in these areas. The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain with isolated heavy occurs over the windward side of the country and the East. Strong wind wave is likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand with 2-4 meters of high.
During 20-23 Jun, the monsoon trough will lies across Myanmar and Laos, PDR. While the active southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf still affect scattered to fairly widespread rains over Thailand. The strong wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand with 2-3 meters high.
Warning During 17-21 Jun, people in risky areas of the North, the Northeast, westward of the Central and the East should beware of heavy rain and flooding conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore especially during 18-21 Jun.
