General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand and the low pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin cause increasing rainfalls and isolated heavy rain over Thailand especially in the western country and the East. People in the areas should beware of heavy rain. The wind-waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution during 28-30 June, 2012.

Tropical storm “Doksuri” in the Pacific will make landfall over southern China, the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong on 30 June. This storm has no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Tak, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng,

Phichit and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Chaiyaphum,

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in the afternoon

to evening in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.
