The strong monsoon trough causes torrential rainfall with very heavy in some places of the upper North and Northeast of Thailand. The moderate southwest monsoon affects scattered rain with heavy somewhere over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. People in risky areas should beware of flooding conditions during 3-4 July. The areas include Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Loei, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan and Ubon Ratchathani.
