General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 01.00 LST on 26 July, tropical depression “VICENTE” over upper Laos, with sustained winds about 50 km/hr, was moving west with speed 20 km/hr. It was expected be downgraded to a low pressure cell in Myanmar.

During 26-27 July, torrential rain occurs with heavy in some places of Tak, Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, Phayao, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, and Phetchabun. People in the lowlands near waterways especially in the North are warned of severe condition and possible flash flood.

The strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand results in waves 2-3 meters high. All ships take more caution and small boats keep ashore.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers mainly in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu,

Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum,

Nakhon Ratchasima Buri Ram and Surin.

Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-31 C.

Westerly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan,

Uthai Thani, Lop Buri, Sara Buri, Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi.

Minimum temperature 24-25C. Maximum temperature 30-31 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok,

Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-26C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters.

Southern Part (East Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi,

Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, and Surat Thani.

Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phang-nga,.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters.

Metropolitan Fairly widespread rain.
