Weather Forecast Topical storm “VICENTE” over southern China downgraded to tropical depression. It will downgrade to low pressure over upper Vietnam today (Jul 25, 2012). While the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. These cause abundant rainfall and isolated heavy fall is likely over Thailand with the wind wave 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand during 25-27 Jul.
During 28-31 Jul, the active monsoon trough will across Myanmar and upper Vietnam and the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread rain and isolated heavy rain is expected over the North, the upper Northeast, the western Central and the East of Thailand while the wind wave about 2meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
Tropical cyclone will occur in the Pacific ocean and move to eastern of China during the period.
Warning During 25-27 Jul, people in the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand should beware of heavy rain and flooding. All ships in the in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
