General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough remain across Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam and the strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand affects scattered to fairly widespread rain with heavy over somewhere of the upper Thailand. The wind waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 1-3 September.
Besides, tropical storm “SAOLA” is moving to Taiwan and eastern China and has no effect on Thailand during above period.
