Weather Forecast During 8-10 Aug, the monsoon trough across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand to the active low pressure cell in the Gulf of Tokin. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Increasing rainfalls are likely over upper Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the North and the upper Northeast. The wind waves are likely 1-2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
During 11-14 Aug, the monsoon trough will shift to Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken causing a decrease in rain over upper Thailand.
Warning During 8-10 Aug, people in the North and the upper Northeast should beware of heavy rain.
