General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, upper Northern Thailand and Laos to low pressure cell over the Gulf of Tokin. The southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershower and isolated heavy rain especially in the North, the upper Northeast and the Central.

Tropical storm “KAI-TAK”, over the upper South China Sea or the west of Luzon, the Philippines, and moves west-northwest. Its expected make landfall over south China on 17 August 2012. Travelers are advised to check weather forecast before their departure for Hong Kong, Macau and Haicau.
