Weather Forecast During 15-19 Aug, the monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand to the low pressure cell in the Gulf of Tonkin and the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. These cause scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain over the North, the upper Northeast, the western portion of the Central and the East.
During 20-21 Aug, this monsoon trough will lie across the areas will weaken and the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Decreasing in rains are likely over the country.
The tropical storm “KAI-TAK” near Luzon, the Philippines move northwestward and will make landfall to the lower China near Hong Kong by 17 Aug.
Warning During 15-19 Aug, people in the North, the upper Northeast, the western portion of Central and the East should beware of heavy rain.
