General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time During 13 - 17 Sep, 2012, the monsoon trough over upper Thailand will intense and the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy fall is expected over the North,
the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South West coast. The wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand will intense with 2 meters of wave high.
At 0400 LST today (13 Sep), Typhoon “SANBA” was centered east of Philippines or at latitude 14.5 N and longitude 129.9 E with maximum sustained wind about 120 km/hr. This storm is moving northwestward with speed about 15 km/hr. It is expected to move to nearly Taiwan and Okinawa Island, Japan during 15-16 Sep, 2012.
