General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The ridge of high pressure remains over the upper portion of Thailand is weakening affecting the moderate monsoon trough across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Fairly widespread rains with isolated heavy rain of the Central, the East, the lower Northeast and the upper South. People should beware of heavy rain during this period.
The tropical storm “SANBA” in the Sea of Japan will move to Hokkaido Island, Japan. This storm has no effect on Thailand.
