General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The intense monsoon trough still lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails cover the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is expected over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the lower Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. People in the risk areas should beware of severe conditions during few days. The rather strong wind-waves are likely about 2 meters in the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution during 27-30 September 2012.

Typhoon “JELAWAT” over the eastern Philippines, with maximum sustain wind about 200 km/hr, will move near Taiwan during 28-29 September. Tropical storm “EWINIAR” over the Pacific Ocean, with maximum sustain wind about 85 km/hr, will move near Japan during 28-29 September 2012. The both of storms have no effect on Thailand.
