General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The intense monsoon trough still lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East. The strong southwest monsoon prevails cover the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is expected over the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the Central, the East and the South. People in the risk areas should beware of severe conditions during few days. The strong wind-waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Gulf of Thailand the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution during 28-30 September 2012.

Typhoon “JELAWAT” over the Southeast of Taiwan, with maximum sustain wind about 185 km/hr, will move near Taiwan during 28-29 September. Tropical storm “EWINIAR” over the Pacific Ocean, with maximum sustain wind about 90 km/hr, will move near Japan during 28-29 September 2012. The both of storms have no effect on Thailand.
