The active low pressure cell still over the Gulf of Thailand and the middle southern Thailand has moved to the Andaman Sea. Isolated heavy rain is likely over the South today. People in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Ranong and Phang-nga should beware of heavy rain. The strong wind-waves are expected above 2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand especially in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution.
The moderate high pressure over the upper country and the South China Sea will weaken. Cool weather with morning fog remains in the North and the Northeast.
At 0400 a.m. LST today, tropical storm “SON-TINH” centered over the Philippines will move to the middle South China Sea and has no influence on Thailand.
