Weather Forecast During 16-18 Dec, the moderate high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand and the upper level westerly winds prevails over the North. Cool to cold weather with morning fog and dense fog in some places is likely in the North, the Northeast and the Central. The easterly wind prevails over the South bringing widely scattered to scattered rain in the area.
After that during 19-22 Dec, another nearly active high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. The upper level westerly winds still prevail over the North. Cooler with 2-4 oC drops is likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Isolated frost on the mountaintops in the North. More rain and isolated heavy rain is expected in the South and stronger wind wave in the lower Gulf of Thailand with 2 meters high.
