General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The active high pressure from China covers upper Thailand is weakening while cool weather in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East of Thailand. Cold weather occurs in many places of the upper North.
The easterly winds over the Gulf and the South is intensifying bringing more rain. Isolated heavy rain is likely in Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. People in the areas should beware of heavy rain during this period. The stronger wind-waves is expected in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the areas keep ashore during 20-25 Jan, 2012.
