General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The active high pressure over upper Thailand begins weakening. Cool to cold weather remains over the country while high mountains see very cold with mainly isolated frost on mountaintops of the North. People are advised to keep themselves warm from cooler weather. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and the South weaken leading to less rain of the areas. The strong wind-waves stay across the Gulf, and people along the coast should beware of high wave inshore. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward keep ashore in the following few days.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mainly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Upper Gulf from Chumphon upward: northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward: northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast) Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Phang-nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
