General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate high pressure covers upper Thailand. Cool weather and morning fog is likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the upper East. Cold remains on high mountains with isolated frost on mountaintops. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South leading to less rain in the areas during 1-2 days.
Tropical depression “Wukong” in the middle South China Sea will be decline to the low pressure near the coast of Vietnam on 29 December. This storm has no effect on Thailand.
During 30 Dec -1 Jan, another active high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand. Cool to cold weather in generally is likely in the upper Thailand with 4-6 C. drops. The active northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and southern Thailand.
