General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The active high pressure from China still covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. Cooler weather with windy is likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and Vicinity, and the East. The temperature below 16 C covers many parts of the Northeast while high mountain ranges see very cold weather by temperature below 8 C. People are advised to keep themselves warm from this condition.

The moderated northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the southern country making scattered rain with isolated heavy rain in the areas. People should beware of these conditions. Due to the strong wind waves 2-3 meters high across the lower Gulf, people along the coast should beware of high wave inshore. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward keep ashore during few days.

Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.
