Weather Forecast During 15-16 Jan, the moderate high pressure area covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea and the northwesterly upper level winds prevail over the North. Cool to cold weather and morning fog with isolated thick patches are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Less rain is likely in the South.
During 17-21 Jan, another nearly active high pressure area from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and South China Sea. Cooler weather with 4-6 C drops and windy are expected in the Northeast at the first and the other part later. The northeast monsoon over the Gulf and the South will strengthen. Increasing rainfalls are likely in the South with stronger wind wave with 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf of Thailand.
Warning During 15-16 Jan, all transport should proceed with caution in areas of poor visibility. During 17-21 Jan, people in upper Thailand should take care healthy from cooler weather. All ship especially during in the lower Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
