The westerly trough from Myanmar covers the North and the western Central resulting in thunderstorms with gust in the North, the upper Central and the upper Northeast during 30-31 January. Isolated heavy rain and hail possibly occur in the North. People should beware of this severe weather.
The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand leading to wave 2 meters high in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. All ships should proceed with caution.
