General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The ridge of strong high pressure from China extends to the Northeastern Thailand where day hot weather occurs. Thunderstorms with gust dropping to 3-5 C are expected first in the Northeast and the eastern North, and then the rest of the country. People in the upper country should beware of severe conditions during 21-23 February.

The tropical depression in the Philippines is moving to the lower South China Sea. The depression is expected to move near Malaysia affecting the stronger northeast monsoon over the lower Gulf and the south of Thailand during 23-25 February. More rain is likely with isolated heavy rainfall and stronger winds and waves of 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf. People should beware heavy rain, all ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
