The nearly active high pressure area extends to middle China. It is expected to approach upper Thailand and the South China Sea by 2 March. Summer thunderstorms are likely with thunderstorm, gust and hail in upper Thailand then dropping to 5-7 ?C. This condition affects first the Northeast and later the rest of the country. Peoples should beware of severe conditions and changeable weather during 2-5 March.
As of 1 March, today, the heat low cell over upper Thailand leads to hot weather with haze during the day. The southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea to the Central including Bangkok, the East and the Northeast. Isolated rain occurs while widely scattered rain is likely in the South.
