Weather Forecast During 5-6 Mar, the nearly strong high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea causing 2-3 C dropping in the areas. The stronger easterly winds will prevails over the Gulf and the South of Thailand. Widely scattered to scattered rain is expected in the South with about 2 meters of high wave in the lower Gulf.
During 7-11 Mar, this high pressure area will weaken but the westerly trough will prevail over the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand during 7-9 Mar. Thundershowers with isolated gust is expected in upper Thailand. The weakening easterly wind will prevails over the Gulf and the South of Thailand. Decreasing in wind wave is likely in the Gulf of Thailand during the period.
Warning During 5-6 Mar, all ships in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat downward should proceed with caution. During 7-9 Mar, people in the North, the Northeast and the Central should beware of thundershowers with gust.
