Weather Forecast During 15-16 May, southwesterly winds prevail over Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Tropical cyclone “MAHASEN”(01B) in the middle bay of Bengal is expected to make landfall in Chittagong, Bangladesh by tomorrow ( 16 May 2013). Widely scattered to scattered thundershowers are likely in the western part of Thailand and in the Andaman Sea. Wave height about 2 meters.
During 17-21 May, the stronger southwesterly wind over Thailand and the Andaman Sea causes more rain and isolated heavy rains in the Northern, the East and the Southern (west coastal). Wave height 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea and the coastal areas of the East.
Warning During 17-19 May, people in the Northern, the East and west coastal should beware of heavy rains. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the coastal areas of the East should proceed with caution and small boat should keep ashore.
Northern Part During 15-16 May and 20-21 May, widely scattered to scattered thundershowers.
