General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. There remain torrential rain and isolated heavy falls over the East and the South. People especially in Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phang-nga should beware of the severe conditions. The wind waves continue strong with 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand in the areas of Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore until 20 June.

The tropical depression over the nearly eastern Philippines is forecast to departure for Japan with no effect on Thailand.
