General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 0100 a.m. LST (24 June), tropical storm “BEBINCA” over the upper Vietnam and downgrade to the tropical depression. About 100 Kilometers southeastward of Hanoi, Vietnam or latitude 20.7 degrees North longitude 106.6 degrees East with maximum sustained wind about 55 km/hr was moving north slowly. Expected this tropical will weaken to low pressure cell in the next phase.
The storm affects heavy to very heavy rain over the Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan in a few days.
The strong southwest monsoon over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. The strong wind waves are expected 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea while the East has about 2 meters. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore until 24 June.
