Weather Forecast The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period, continuing rain and isolated heavy rain are expected in the country. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand is about 2-3 meters high.
During 18-22 Jul, monsoon trough will intensify and lies across the North, the upper Central and the Northeast. This will cause more rain and heavy to very heavy rain in some places of the upper Thailand.
Warning During 16-22 Jul, all ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, small boat in the areas should keep ashore. During 18-22 Jul. People in the North, the Northeast and the East should beware the effect of heavy to very heavy rain.
