Weather Forecast Weather Forecast During 8-9 Aug, the tropical depression “MANGKHUT” over upper Laos will downgrade to a low pressure cell and covers the upper North of Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain with windy is likely over the North and the Northeast. The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand causing isolated heavy rain in the western Central, the East, and the South West Coast. The wind wave in the Andaman and the upper Gulf with is about 2 meters high.
During 10-14 Aug, this southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Decreasing rain is expected over Thailand except the North and the upper Northeast.
Warning Warning During 8-9 Aug, people in the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South West Coast should beware of heavy to very heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
